Franco Venturi
Partner & Computer Engineer
Franco is a native of Milan, Italy who spent his early years traveling between European countries and the United States. He attended elementary, middle and some high school in Italy. Graduating high school in Munich, Germany from the DoDDS (Department of Defense Dependent Schools) network Franco then attended the University of Maryland, Munich Campus, University and subsequently transferred to North Carolina State University where he graduated with a Master of Science in Computer Engineering.
He is fluent in both Italian and English.
Early work involved programmable logic controllers, medical imaging, telecommunication equipment and wireless network protocols. Recently involved in mobile and server chip set performance profiling and integration.
He has spent time in Ottawa (Canada), Chicago, New York metropolitan area, and Boston working for major companies and startups. Franco is always willing to take on new challenges regardless of geographic location.
He has been involved with marketing and sales teams in several companies and has traveled to the UK, Germany, Canada and China in conjunction with his positions.
Franco always keeps the customer’s needs in mind and successfully interacts with diverse teams around the world.
When he is not working, Franco enjoys traveling internationally and learning languages and aspects of foreign cultures. Has been known to take his camera wherever he travels.
John K Lewis
Partner & Business Manager
A native of College Station, Tx John attended schools there and upon high school graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving in the U.S. and overseas. He then attended Texas A&M University while still an active member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve. After graduating from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, he went to work in the telecommunications industry.
John’s military experience includes working as a crew chief on F5 fighter jets in the Pacific Command aggressor squadron stationed at Clark Air Base Philippines. In the U.S., he was stationed at Reese AFB, TX. serving as a crew chief and dispatcher for T-38 trainer jets.
In the Air Force Reserve, he served as a C-5 Galaxy Flight Engineer with the 68th Military Airlift Squadron stationed at Kelly AFB, Tx. During this time, his unit was activated for service during operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm where he served for the duration of the military action.
With seventeen years of experience in the telecommunications industry, John’s career roles include software design and engineering, product management and ten years of customer facing experience as a sales engineer.
He was actively involved in the design and implementation efforts for handling SS7 stacks, end office functionality and telecommunications testing software for SS7, wireless and VoIP protocols and products. Later, he was part of the sales team providing the technical expertise for product discussions and demonstrations for wired and wireless telecommunications equipment.
John has worked with Ericsson, Tekelec, Ixia and Tektronix. During terms with these firms, John interfaced with all the major telecommunications companies as clients.
